"Your life is a reflection of your thoughts. If you change your thinking, you change your life. Embrace who you are; your inner light has the power to transform the world." For many years, I was a shy child, a victim of bullying and shame. I spent my entire childhood devising plans to avoid pain and exclusion in adulthood. I sought refuge in my studies, aspiring to achieve success that would allow me to lead a double life: with a family and children, and hopefully a boyfriend as well. Fortunately, those plans didn't come to fruition. Through a series of fortunate events, I was able to shift my mindset and begin to discover who I truly am and what I can do to pursue happiness in my life. I've learned the best and most honorable way to do this is by being honest with myself. This is a vital part of my journey you can through those pictures.
